The Santa Olaia hostel, in the municipality of Silleda, occupies a former residence linked to the church and is located directly on the Vía de la Plata route of the Camino de Santiago. Its location makes it a stopping point for pilgrims travelling this Jacobean route, offering a peaceful setting within the village of Silleda.
The accommodation has 15 rooms with capacity for 3 or 4 people each. In addition, it has a pavilion equipped with hot-water showers where pilgrims can also stay, thus increasing its accommodation capacity.
The hostel offers numerous services that make pilgrims’ stay easier, such as washrooms, hot-water showers, a washing machine and dryer, clothesline, refrigerator and heating. It also provides users with sheets, blankets and pillows, a first-aid kit, lockers, a kitchen equipped with a microwave, a dining room and Wi-Fi connection.
